Following expects to be occur before any issue is escalated:
-The issue is discovered.
- Find the appropriate developers for the area of the issue.
-The developers should Immediately Go And Take a Look at the issue to see if it is an issue.
-Determine whether there is an issue and the severity of the issue (to the customer)
-If there is an issue, but it is not a showstopper, enter a bug and target it at next release.
If there is no issue, never mind -- everyone ran the process right and can return to their previous efforts.
If there is an issue, and it is a showstopper, now and only now it is time to bring the issue up to appropriate
people who will take the issue and run with it. If it becomes necessary to make a code change, that change must
be reviewed by another developer and by the manager of the team. If there is risk, get any additional people necessary
to take a look, everyone (QA and Dev.) must be extra careful at this stage. Fix will be made and rebuild as needed
to cause as little risk and as little disruption as possible. The goal is no more changes but sometimes reality
intrudes.
-It is everyone role in the end of the project to make sure they stay on top of everything and aggressively drive
to closure, so product can be ship soon.
